Pathfinder College Coaching unlocks the transformative potential of the college experience through personalized guidance and skill-building for students and parents.

Aaron Stoller, MFA, MDiv, PhD
Founder & Lead Success Coach

I founded Pathfinder College Coaching to empower students and parents with the guidance needed to navigate college and unlock its transformative potential.

I have more than 20 years of professional experience as a faculty member and administrator leading student success initiatives at research universities and liberal arts colleges, including directing first-year seminar and writing programs, orientation programs, academic support units, and retention programs. I hold a PhD in Social Foundations of Education, an MDiv in Religious Studies, and an MFA in Creative Writing.

In addition to leading Pathfinder, I also serve as Associate Vice President for Student Success at a small liberal arts college where I am a faculty member in Education. I teach courses on a variety of topics, including philosophy of education, curriculum and instruction, and interdisciplinary research methods.

In addition to my administrative and faculty experience, I am a nationally known researcher investigating best practices for undergraduate student thriving. I have written two books and published more than twenty peer-reviewed articles, and my work has been featured in Inside Higher Ed, the Association of American Colleges & Universities Liberal Arts Magazine, and the College Admissions Decoded podcast.
